Our Study Trip
Every year, the Chinese Student Association (CSA-EUR) organizes a Study Trip to China.
In the past, CSA-EUR has organized study trips to Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong. As students of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, we are looking forward to learn more about China by exploring Chinese cities and visiting companies located in China.
The students that can participate in our study trip will be selected based on their interest in China, their academic achievements and most of all, their motivation. We believe that this study trip will bring valuable benefits for the participants as well as the companies.
This 10-day Study Trip will consist of cultural, social and formal elements. Company visits, university visits, (cultural) workshops and sightseeing are a few of the things that we will offer during this trip. We will also provide you with enough free time to explore the city, and experience the local atmosphere.
The Study Trip committee will consist of highly motivated and knowledgeable members, who will make sure that every participant will get to see the authentic side of China!

When to join?
The study trip will be held in at the end of April. The application procedure in which you may send in your CV and motivation letter to us will take place four/five months prior take off. Here we start the selection procedure and we will invite you for an interview.
Who can join?
Our main target group is university students who have deep interest in the Chinese culture and business environment. As can be seen in our previous study trips, the selected participants have very diverse backgrounds, but are all students who excel in their own studies.
How to join?
After you fill out the registration form on the website (see here), we will contact you as soon as possible to schedule an interview. During these interviews we will assess your basic knowledge of China, your motivation of going on this study trip, and whether you can work within the group dynamics.
After the selection and before we take-off, CSA-EUR will organize several meet-ups to get to know your fellow study trip members. During these meet-ups, the itinerary for the study trip will also be presented.
Payment
We strive to keep the price low by sponsoring a part of the study trip expenses. The price of the study trip will fluctuate around 700-900 euros per person depending on the destinations. These costs include the flight ticket, accommodations, transportation and some surprises during the trip.
