In an ever increasingly connected and digital world, the need for a digital transformation in companies is becoming more and more urgent. This year, China In Focus Career Days will be about “Entering the Digital Silk Road”; a metaphor for the interconnectivity between the Netherlands, China and the rest of the world in general.

Congress - EUR Forumzaal
On the first day, you will learn more about current trends in digital transformation and the strategy setting of the various companies such as Alibaba and Unilever. You will be given the opportunity to get to know the guest speakers and the recruiters from the respective companies in a more informal setting during the Networking Lunch and Drinks.

On the second day, you have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge and skills to several companies by attending the case workshops. It is also the perfect way to get to know more about the company and its working environment.

INHOUSE DAY - Off Campus
During the Inhouse Day you will visit the company and experience the working culture. Experience first-hand how a regular day at Schiphol OCC looks like and maybe you will find your next internship or job opportunity here.

Danone, a world leading food company built on four business lines:: Essential Dairy and Plant-Based Products, Early Life Nutrition, Medical Nutrition and Waters. This workshop will showcase how China has greatly impacted the business development and trends in the Dutch dairy market. Grant Thornton
Grant Thornton will hold a short workshop of approximately 1.5 hours in which its partner and senior manager of Transaction Advisory Services will explain the M&A process, deal dynamics and elaborate on the financial aspects which are investigated during a due diligence process. These aspects mainly relate to working capital mechanisms, net debt and debt-like calculations and closing mechanisms.
