We are thrilled to announce that this year’s study trip will take place in China’s capital Beijing, and it’s most populated city, Shanghai.
Come explore China with us and get an inside look at Chinese business and culture.
Take a peek at its’ history as we walk down the streets of Beijing, or take a glimpse into the future when walking along the impressive skyline of the bund in Shanghai.
During the trip, you will visit top universities and companies to get to know more about China and how this country has gotten to where it is today.
Beijing
Our first stop on the study trip. It is the nation’s cultural center and is home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Among these sites is the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and parts of the Great Wall.
We can’t wait to explore the city that hosted the 2008 summer Olympics.
Shanghai
The most influential economic, financial, and cultural center in East China.
In this city you can find the perfect blend of old and modern, western and oriental culture!
WHEN WILL IT TAKE PLACE
The study trip will take place from the 20-30th of March, 2017. We will be staying in Beijing for the first part of our trip, and take the high speed train to Shanghai for the remaining days!
COST
The price for our Study Trip 2017 is €849. This great price includes the return flight ticket, transportation between the cities, accommodations during your stay, entrance tickets to historic sights, business activities in multiple companies and cultural activities organized by CSA-EUR.
Activities
University Visit
Beijing University – Is the first modern national university established in China, and was founded in 1898 under the name Imperial University of Peking. At the university visit we will get a chance to see the campus and interact with Chinese students in some cultural activities.
Company Visits

Gaotime – Is a leading financial information provider in China. Located in the heart of Shanghai in the Pudong district, this company focuses on the provision of comprehensive, accurate and timely data. The company gains extensive knowledge about China’s financial and capital markets. They equip customers with innovative products and insights that enrich and promote business success.
Wicresoft – Shanghai Wicresoft Co., Ltd., better known as “Wicresoft”, was jointly founded by Microsoft Corporation and Shanghai Alliance Investment Limited in 2002. KLM - KLM Royal Dutch Airlines was founded on 7 October, 1919. Today, it is the oldest airline that is still operating under its' original name. This airline company is at the forefront of the industry because of its reliability and innovation.
The Team
Xinyi Zhu: I am the head of the IR committee, and together with my committee members we will organize an unforgettable and adventurous study trip to China!
Hoyin Tang: My goal is to organize an instructive and fun study trip to China, together with an awesome and hardworking team. A study trip with great company visits, university visits and cultural events. Furthermore, I am looking forward to the great nightlife China has to offer.
Anton Yang: My main job as an IR committee member is arranging company visits in Beijing and Shanghai. Furthermore, my knowledge of the Chinese culture and language could also be very useful during the trip.
Lina Shi: My responsibility was to approach universities and companies in Shanghai and Beijing. With my hardworking committee members, we have planned an awesome study trip that will be unforgettable. Can't wait to see who is going to join us for this great adventure!
Hanna Landegren: As a part of the IR committee, I am responsible for organizing company visits and sponsors. I fell in love with China during my internship experience in Shanghai and cannot wait to go back and explore once again with all of you!
