IT officer

The IT Officer is responsible for the website of CSA-EUR, by making additions to the IT infrastructure where necessary. You will also be in charge of the process of collecting and analysing data, which you can use to think of ways to make the associations strategy more effective.

Job Description & Responsibilities

As the IT officer, you are responsible for leading the IT Committee, and you will be responsible for managing and making additions to the IT infrastructure. Besides that, your duties include managing the membership system and databases. You will conduct data analysis to extract valuable insights and assess effectiveness for members and partnerships. Additionally, you will develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with CSA-EUR’s goals, while supervising and working together with the IT committee.

My experience

Being the Marketing & IT Officer of the 20th Board of CSA-EUR has been a wonderful experience. I’ve made many lifelong friends, gained professional experiences and made memories that I will cherish forever. As supervisor of the Marketing and the IT Committees, I’ve been able to develop my leadership skills as well as further grow my communication skills. It has given me the confidence in leading meetings and has taught me how to work in an organised manner. One of the things that drew me to becoming Board, was the opportunity to learn about the association’s operations behind the scenes and being able to contribute to and develop strategies together with my Board members that help CSA-EUR grow as an association. With this being my first year within CSA-EUR, I was welcomed warmly and I could really feel the family-like feeling. I would wholeheartedly encourage everyone that is interested to give it a shot and apply for Board at CSA-EUR, because I wouldn’t have missed this opportunity and experience for the world.

My role will be divided into two: Marketing Officer and IT Officer. I am beyond excited to share my experiences and guide my successors.

Board Recruitment

President

The president leads the whole association. The president is the face and main contact person of the association. You will be monitoring and overseeing the Board and envisioning and setting the strategic direction of the association.

Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for managing and organising administrative tasks and providing support to the Board members. The secretary is also responsible for the communication between the association and the General Members.

Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for all the money flow within the association. Making up balance sheets, checking the budget for all the events, and making sure the association stays financially healthy is the Treasurer’s responsibility.

Commissioner of External Affairs & Vice President

The Commissioner of External Affairs is responsible for CSA-EUR’s corporate network. You actively search and go out of your comfort zone for new opportunities for the association, and you will ensure that current corporate relations stay healthy. In your role as Vice President, you will provide support to the President, co-lead the association and critically assess strategic decisions.

Commissioner of Internal Affairs

The Commissioner of Internal Affairs is responsible for managing all internal-related activities, such as maintaining and fostering a healthy internal culture within CSA-EUR. You will also act as a confidential advisor in case of an internal conflict.

Marketing Officer

The Marketing Officer is responsible for the brand perception for CSA-EUR. You reach this through promotion on various channels and developing a solid marketing strategy plan for the association, where you will be in charge the direction of all marketing activities.
