MARKETING OFFICER

The Marketing Officer is responsible for the brand image of CSA-EUR. You will be acting like the wall in between the association and its external parties where you will be monitoring all marketing activities that are passing through. By developing marketing strategies for the association and through promotion on various social media platforms, you will be increasing brand awareness for our different brands.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The Marketing Officer is mainly responsible for the brand image of CSA-EUR, the main goal is to create a consistent brand through various promotion channels, and increasing brand awareness of our association. The duties of a Marketing Officer are quite diverse, not only are you thinking of new marketing strategies to promote events, but also thinking about how to build better relationships with your audience.

As for the relationships, you are not only connecting with the members of CSA-EUR, but also the partners. You, as Marketing officer, are working towards a mutually beneficial collaboration with local partners to create value for them and our members.

My experience

Becoming a board member, especially the first Marketing Officer, has been an exciting and challenging journey. Navigating this new role required me to identify opportunities and define strategies to maximize impact. As the supervisor of the new Partnership Committee, I had the chance to explore new strategies to improve the collaborations with our Partners. This role has expanded my understanding of building and maintaining strong relationships, and increased my knowledge of acquisition. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been mentoring/leading active members. Drawing on my experience across past committee tasks, I have enjoyed sharing knowledge and refining workflows within the association to drive improvements. Overall, being a board member has been a transformative experience, providing countless opportunities to improve my soft skills, including leadership, empathy, and effective communication. What committees weren’t able to provide me regarding learning opportunities, being board has taught me many new things.

The deadline for the Board Recruitment is on Monday 24th of March 23:59. We request you to add a motivation letter and CV to your application! Note that the CV can be at most 1 A4!


Interviews
The interviews will be held in a formal manner. More details about the interview will be sent to you by mail after you have submitted your Board Recruitment submission.
