As Treasurer, you are in charge of managing all the financial affairs within the association. This involves having a clear oversight of the financial health by creating and approving/disapproving the budget plans, and make strategic adjustments where needed. This involves continuously communicating with all the committees regarding their financial position. Moreover, you are responsible for both the short-term monthly financial administration and long-term financial planning of the organization to realize its strategic goals. Together with the audit committee, you will ensure an accurate overview of the association’s financial state during the general members assembly meetings.
A board year is something I would recommend anyone to do as part of their student life! It offers you a unique chance to develop invaluable leadership skills, expand your network, and make lasting impact on our community. It has truly been an enriching experience for me to serve alongside my fellow board members and see how CSA-EUR’s growth has manifested through our collaborative teamwork. Seeing students connect with each other and being able to provide them the same positive experiences as we had through our events, has been a very fulfilling involvement. As Treasurer, it is a great transition from my student time to the corporate life since it has provided me with many practical insights and soft skills that helped me develop myself on both personal and professional level, such as project management, leadership and effective communication. Being part of CSA-EUR is an unforgettable experience, where I have met a lot of people and created wonderful memories that I will fondly look back on!
